So what exactly is this latest claim by the Cameron controlled Treasury supported by?
House prices have never been dependent on EU membership, and indeed the higher up the house prices you go the more you see other nationalities and not members of the EU investing in the property market, let’s look at who owns vast tracts of London these days for instance.
As far as I am concerned when the UK leaves the EU it very quickly becomes a much more desirable place to live. As a more desirable place to live, the price of housing and so forth will at least be stable, if not increase. There are clearly advantages to the UK being outside of EU in every single way, not forgetting that the UK is an economy unto itself with more than 60 million people, all English speaking and earning some of the highest salaries in the world.
The rhetoric by the “in” campaign continues very much as “project fear” with little or no evidence that any of the claims made have real substance.
I guess when all we hear is threat after threat of what will happen ‘if’, we have to pause to consider if any of it is worth listening to? I personally believe that the UK will be safer, more prosperous and generally a better place to visit and indeed to live once outside of the EU. We were once the greatest empire the world had ever seen, and we achieved that as an independent country, and we have the opportunity to do that again.
The EU is in dire straights, and the only option left to them is bullying and fear, complete with the additions from the outgoing US leader Mr Obama, and let’s look at his legacy shall we?
When all a person has on their side are threats of what may happen ‘if’, and no real substance behind positive reinforcement then surely they are simply a bully with nothing else to offer.
Let’s make Britain Great again and capitalise on this modern world we live in. Britain can absolutely become a world powerhouse outside of the EU, deciding it’s own fate, future and development and specialising in providing competent, safe and secure business solutions for the world, whilst providing one of the highest standards of living and community.
